The 12th Asian Chemical Congress (12 ACC) will be organised by the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (Institut Kimia Malaysia). With the theme "Chemistry for Development, Environment and Sustainability in Asia", this event is supported by the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations Malaysia.

The biennial Asian Chemical Congress plays an important role in our scientific arena and has been consistently attended by thousands of outstanding chemists, from Nobel Laureates to young researchers who will present their R&D findings and innovations in various advanced topics on chemical sciences. The Congress also serves to exchange information and ideas on various aspects of chemistry and chemical technology that often leads to new innovations and processes that will further enhance economic development and improve the quality of life.
